Cie de Saint-Gobain has completed a project to consolidate two manufacturing facilities in Neuss, Germany, into one new site.
A new facility has brought Saint-Gobain's polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) extrusion, melt extrusion, expansion and administration under one roof. The new facility will provide increased floor space and a layout designed to accommodate growth of the business.
The business, which is part of Saint-Gobain's Performance Plastics division, manufactures tubing, pipes and other products used in processing environments.
The new facility has also enabled an expansion of services to include coating of long pipes, a cooled mixing room and storage for PTFE. | |
